Wireless CCTV secures £30m from LDC to accelerate international expansion and product development.

LDC has acquired a minority stake in the surveillance provider to support domestic and international expansion.

Wireless CCTV supplies redeployable surveillance equipment and body worn cameras to infrastructure, utilities, and public sector clients. Headquartered in Rochdale, the firm operates across the UK and the US.

Wireless CCTV has secured a £30m minority investment from mid-market private equity firm LDC. The funding will accelerate the company's domestic and international expansion while supporting the launch of new products and services.

Founded in 2001, the Rochdale-based firm provides wireless surveillance systems including redeployable CCTV and body worn cameras. The business has increased its revenues by over 50% across the last three years, establishing operations in both the UK and Texas.

The transaction sees LDC back the existing management team, with Dale Alderson and Richard Ibbett joining the board alongside new non-executive director Ian Burnett.
