Wilder Sensing has secured a £700k investment round to expand its biodiversity monitoring platform and create new jobs. The funding includes £300k from the South West Investment Fund via The FSE Group, alongside contributions from Oxford Innovation Finance and Cambridge Angels. The company plans to use the capital to grow its team and enhance its bioacoustic data analysis capabilities.

The business uses audio recording equipment and artificial intelligence to measure wildlife populations, serving clients such as ecological consultancies, farming businesses, and conservation trusts. This latest injection of capital will support the firm as demand grows for data-driven environmental reporting and sustainable development tools.
