Wild Lakes secures £40.7k from the Development Bank of Wales to fund solar power installation
The funding from the Development Bank of Wales will allow the adventure hub to replace diesel power with solar energy.
Wild Lakes operates an outdoor wake park and climbing centre in Pembrokeshire, offering water sports, climbing facilities, and dining.
Wild Lakes has secured a £40.7k loan from the Development Bank of Wales to install new solar panels and transition away from diesel power.
The funding, provided via the Welsh Government-backed Green Business Loan Scheme, will enable the Pembrokeshire-based wake park and climbing centre to power its artificial wakeboarding cables and kitchen equipment with clean energy.
This financing builds on a previous £50k investment made by the Development Bank in 2023, supporting the leisure attraction's ongoing environmental initiatives.
