WhereIsMyTransport secures a Series A extension led by Naspers Foundry, Cathay AfricInvest Innovation Fund, and SBI Investment to expand its mobility data offering.
WhereIsMyTransport develops mobility data and technology solutions focused on public transport networks in emerging market megacities. The company provides mapping and real time passenger information services across multiple regions.
Mobility technology company WhereIsMyTransport has secured £10.2m in a Series A extension funding round led by Naspers Foundry, Cathay AfricInvest Innovation Fund, and SBI Investment. The capital will enable the London based scale-up to expand its portfolio of mobility data and solutions across emerging market megacities.
The latest financing builds upon previous backing from investors including Google and Toyota Tsusho Corporation, bringing total funding raised during the company Series A phase to $22m. Alongside the funding announcement, WhereIsMyTransport continues the rollout of its consumer transit app, Rumbo, following its initial launch in Mexico City.
