WeWALK secures £1.7m from UKRI to develop computer vision navigation for visually impaired people.

London-based accessibility technology developer WeWALK has secured £1.7m in funding from UK Research and Innovation. The capital will be used to advance computer vision-aided navigation technology for visually impaired and older people. The project brings together the WeWALK team alongside Imperial College London and the RNIB. The funding is delivered under the Healthy Ageing Challenge through the Designed for Ageing initiative.
