Weedingtech secures £2.2m Series B investment from Earthworm
Earthworm has provided a £2.2m Series B investment to support Weedingtech as it expands its herbicide-free weed control technology internationally.
Weedingtech develops and supplies herbicide-free weed control technology, anchored by its patented Foamstream process used across international markets.
Weedingtech has secured £2.2m in Series B funding from environmental fund manager Earthworm. The capital will be deployed to reinforce the company position in Europe and support ongoing expansion across North America as demand for chemical-free alternatives grows.
The raise arrives amidst heightened regulatory scrutiny and public concern regarding traditional chemical herbicides in public spaces. Municipalities and city authorities face increasing pressure to restrict chemical use, creating demand for alternative weed control systems.
Founded in 2011, Weedingtech utilises its patented Foamstream process to service clients across the Americas, Europe, and Australasia, including municipal parks and educational districts.
