Wealthbrite raises £200k in pre-seed funding from angel investors to expand into new markets
The ed-tech platform secured the capital from angel investors to scale its AI capabilities and grow its team.
Wealthbrite is an ed-tech platform that provides financial skills training and AI-powered accelerator programmes to help businesses build commercially aware teams. The company was founded to tackle the UK financial literacy gap and improve workplace productivity.
Wealthbrite has raised £200k in a pre-seed funding round from a cohort of angel investors representing the tech, financial services, and manufacturing sectors. The fresh capital will be directed towards enhancing the company artificial intelligence capabilities and growing its team as it targets expansion into new markets.
Founded in 2021, the firm addresses the estimated £20bn annual cost of poor financial literacy to the British economy. Its platform teaches essential financial management and commercial awareness to early career talent.
Participating backers in the round include executive figures such as Element Materials Technology chief executive Jo Wetz and Flex Legal founder Mary Bonsor. The company notes that seventy percent of its investors come from underrepresented backgrounds.
From the founder
