Wayve secures £10m Series A follow on investment from Ocado Group

Ocado Group has backed autonomous mobility start-up Wayve with £10m to advance grocery delivery trials.

Wayve has secured £10m in a Series A follow on investment led by Ocado Group. The capital will be deployed to accelerate the development of autonomous grocery deliveries in complex urban environments, alongside a trial on Ocado delivery vans. The collaboration enables Ocado to test autonomous navigation on congested streets while supplying Wayve with operational data for training its machine learning models.
