Virtual reality social network vTime has secured £5.4m in a Series A funding round led by Deepbridge Capital, with participation from MSIF. The capital will be deployed to accelerate global expansion, advance product development, and support research into augmented reality applications.
Founded in Liverpool, the company provides a sociable network compatible with major headsets and mobile platforms, accumulating nearly a million downloads since its launch. The fresh funds will also help scale its development and management workforce across operations in the UK and the United States ahead of new product releases.
