Voyage develops self-driving taxi services, having tested its vehicles in Californian residential communities.

Voyage has secured $3m in funding led by InMotion Ventures, with participation from Khosla Ventures, SV Angel, Initialized Capital, Amino Capital and Charles River Ventures.

The capital will support the company as it develops a global autonomous vehicle service, building on passenger trials previously conducted in a San Jose gated community.

The business plans to use the financing to expand its technical and operational expertise while preparing for further passenger trials throughout the year.
