Vortexa secures $25m in debt financing from CIBC Innovation Banking
The London-based energy analytics company has raised $25m in debt financing from CIBC Innovation Banking to support international expansion and innovation.

Vortexa provides real-time analytics and data for global energy and freight markets using artificial intelligence and machine learning. The firm operates major international hubs and employs over 120 specialists.
Vortexa has secured $25m in strategic debt financing from CIBC Innovation Banking. The capital will support the company as it accelerates international growth and continues to invest in product innovation. This follows a $34m Series C funding round earlier in the year led by Morgan Stanley.
Founded in 2016, the London-based energy analytics firm tracks global movements of crude oil, refined products, and liquefied gas across all vessel classes. Its platform provides actionable intelligence to traders, analysts, and freight professionals navigating complex supply chains.
