Vortexa has raised $19m in Series B funding to accelerate its international expansion and product development. The investment round was led by monashees, with participation from existing backers Notion Capital, Mosaic Ventures, and Metaplanet Holdings. This latest injection brings the total capital raised by the firm to over $30m since it was founded in 2019.

The London-headquartered business has seen rapid growth recently, tripling its revenues through 2020 and expanding its headcount past 70 people. The fresh capital will allow the company to scale its operations further as it serves major commodity traders, oil companies, and ship owners worldwide.
