The Series B round was led by IVP to support expansion into APAC and the Americas.
Volt builds global infrastructure for real-time payments, providing an open gateway that allows merchants and payment service providers to process account-to-account transactions securely. The company operates across the UK, Europe, and Brazil.
Volt has secured £47m in Series B funding led by Silicon Valley firm IVP, with participation from new investor CommerzVentures and existing backers including EQT Ventures, Augmentum Fintech, and Fuel Ventures. The capital will be directed towards international expansion into the Americas and APAC, alongside product development initiatives in existing markets such as Europe, the UK, and Brazil. This investment follows a period of commercial growth for the London-based payments provider, highlighted by recent partnerships with major financial entities.
The financing underscores continued investor interest in the UK fintech sector despite broader macroeconomic headwinds. Volt plans to use the funds to build out its network and enhance its product suite, including the addition of cash management capabilities, while expanding its engineering and product teams.
