Vitesse has secured £73.2m in a Series C funding round led by global investment firm KKR, with participation from existing backer Hannover Digital Investments. The capital will be deployed to accelerate the company's expansion into the United States and fund further product development within the insurance value chain.
Alongside the financing, Vitesse announced the appointment of Curt Hess as US Executive President to oversee domestic growth. Patrick Devine, Managing Director in KKR's Tech Growth team, is set to join the board of directors following the transaction, which remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
