The oversubscribed round was led by West Hill Capital to support team expansion and product development.
Visionable is a healthcare technology company that provides a digital collaboration platform for clinicians to deliver better patient care.
Healthcare technology company Visionable has secured £6m in a Series A1 funding round led by West Hill Capital. The private placement closed within 24 hours after being oversubscribed by £4m.
The capital will be directed towards team expansion, product development, research and development, and international growth. The funding follows a surge in demand for the firm's video streaming services from both the NHS and private providers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Visionable expanded its headcount significantly and increased video conferencing usage substantially following the implementation of lockdown measures. The company also collaborates with partners on connected ambulance initiatives and virtual visiting applications for hospitals.
From the founder
"We are experiencing significantly faster adoption of our technology with deal cycle time considerably reduced. This funding round will enable us to fast track our expansion plans and develop new functionality in order to meet growing demand."
