Virti secures £7.2m Series A funding led by IQ Capital to expand its digital training platform.
The investment round was led by IQ Capital with backing from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a UK learning technology fund.
Virti is a digital training platform that uses interactive simulations and artificial intelligence to improve workforce performance. The company provides cloud-based tools for organisations to build bespoke training modules and measure soft skills.
Virti has raised £7.2m in a Series A funding round led by IQ Capital, with participation from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a new learning technology venture capital fund based in the United Kingdom. The investment coincides with a period of rapid growth for the company, driven by increasing demand for remote training solutions during the pandemic. The capital will be used to support international expansion and fund ongoing research and development.
The digital training platform uses interactive simulations, computer vision, and natural language processing to help organisations upskill employees and standardise training. Its technology converts subjectively assessed soft skills into measurable data, improving training outcomes across healthcare, academic, and corporate sectors. Alongside the financing, Virti has strengthened its leadership team with three senior appointments from Oracle and Nearpod.
