Veridue builds an artificial intelligence platform designed to streamline due diligence and mergers and acquisitions for renewable energy and data centre projects.

Veridue has secured $4m in a pre-seed funding round led by Episode 1 Ventures to expand its artificial intelligence due diligence platform for renewable energy and data centre transactions.

Additional backing came from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Pi Labs, and industry figures including Cameron Hepburn and Jeremy Palmer. The capital will be used to scale the company platform for independent power producers, developers, and investors.

The firm aims to reduce due diligence timelines from weeks to hours by pairing large language models with a deterministic agent layer trained on historical transaction data.

From the founder

"We built Veridue as the solution we wished we had when we were the ones carrying the risk on a decision. It is not simply a chatbot pointed at a data room,"

Investor perspective

"The founders have put two years into developing a focused, purpose-built solution designed around how energy infrastructure deals actually work, rather than a generic AI platform which simply couldn’t be trusted by deal teams,"
