VentureFounders operates an equity crowdfunding platform that connects early stage businesses with investors.

Early stage equity crowdfunding platform VentureFounders has secured £1.8m in new investment to support its ongoing expansion.

Launched in 2014, the company focuses on connecting high growth start-ups with finance while maintaining a selective due diligence process. The platform has facilitated £20m across ten companies to date.

The business has also appointed former Dyson chief executive Martin McCourt as its new chairman.
