Vendoir is a UK event technology start-up building an on-demand application for booking event service providers. The platform connects consumers directly with vendors such as DJs, hosts and photographers.
Vendoir has secured £163k in a pre-seed funding round to support the launch of its on-demand mobile application. The capital was raised through a campaign on Crowdcube, drawing participation from a US lead investor alongside 334 backers across 29 countries.
The company intends to use the funds to build and release its platform in the third quarter of 2021. The application aims to simplify the process of discovering and booking event professionals by centralising search and payment functions in a single digital marketplace.
