London-based Valent has secured £1.1m in a funding round led by the Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund, with participation from angel investors including Carsten Kraus.
The capital will be directed towards developing the company technology offering, scaling its sales footprint, and driving product-led expansion into new market sectors. Valent offers an artificial intelligence platform called Ariadne, which is designed to predict, detect, and respond to bad actors manipulating information flows online.
The platform is currently utilised by governments, multilateral organisations, and financial institutions to counter hostile state interference and stock market manipulation.
