Urban Jungle has secured £11.2m in a Series A follow-on investment round led by existing backers, bringing its total funds raised to £43.3m. The capital will support the company as it expands its home insurance operations, introduces new product lines, and increases headcount.
Founded in 2017, the London-based insurer utilises artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect fraud and streamline policies for its customer base of over 200,000 policyholders. Participants in the latest financing include Sony Innovation Fund, alongside ongoing support from established institutional and angel investors.
