London-based deep tech startup United Robots has secured new investment from Aper Ventures and co-investors. The company develops autonomous industrial cleaning robots equipped with artificial intelligence to navigate crowded spaces and clean large areas on a single charge.
The newly acquired capital will support the company as it brings its technology to the UK and Germany following extensive testing in Poland. The startup focuses on addressing staffing shortages and reducing maintenance costs for warehouse, automotive, and manufacturing managers.
From the founder
"Our robots are highly efficient and reliable; their real edge lies in their ability to work harmoniously with humans in crowded settings, in real-time. We’ve redesigned the traditional machine, enabling each robot to turn in place, making it the most agile autonomous scrubber available."
Dariusz Mankowski
CEO and co-founder at United Robots
Investor perspective
"Our investment in these floor scrubbing robots signals a paradigm shift where machines enhance human tasks rather than interrupting them. It proves that deeptech offers solutions even for warehouse, automotive, and manufacturing managers seeking solutions for staffing shortages."
