United Fintech has secured strategic investments from major banking institutions Citi and BNP Paribas to advance its digital transformation platform. The round, which was led by Citi, establishes the two banks as the firm's first institutional backers and includes rotating board seats for both organisations. United Fintech is currently engaged in talks with other prospective strategic partners as part of a wider industry push toward collaborative financial technology innovation.
Founded in 2020, the company has grown to a team of over 160 staff across eight countries while acquiring five engineering-led firms. The fresh capital supports the platform's ongoing expansion as it aims to unify financial institutions and technology providers under a central corporate umbrella.
