Tulipshare operates an activist investment platform that enables retail investors to pool their voting rights and press major corporations for environmental and social change. The London based fintech startup launched in July 2021.

Tulipshare has secured £730k in pre-seed funding from Speedinvest alongside a group of high profile business angels. The capital will support the platform as it prepares for its official launch and eyes expansion into the United States market.

Founded by Antoine Argouges, the London based company offers a retail investment model designed to hold major corporations accountable on environmental, social and governance issues. Initial shareholder campaigns target workplace standards at Amazon, plastic waste at Coca-Cola and right to repair policies at Apple.

The business has already secured regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority and intends to use its platform to give everyday investors a direct voice in corporate boardrooms.

From the founder

"Tulipshare is truly a first of its kind platform. Our goal is to give a voice to the everyday individual, to encourage retail investors to rethink their investment strategies. We want to shine a spotlight on the global issues no other investment platform has done to date, and, in turn, truly make progress in fighting the injustices committed by major corporations where, traditionally, major decisions are kept to a handful of individuals."
