TUBR has raised £154k from angel investors, including backing from Lifted Ventures, to advance its real-time predictive platform for food retailers. The capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand the technical team and fund pilot programmes.

The Sheffield-based machine-learning innovator uses a physics-based modelling approach designed to generate accurate forecasts even when operational data is sparse or incomplete. Its flagship platform, TUBR Pulse, aims to help restaurants, cafés and grocery operators optimise staffing, reduce waste and streamline supply chains.

From the founder

"For years, operational teams have been forced to make decisions based on partial or unreliable data. With TUBR Pulse, we’re removing that barrier. Our technology gives businesses the confidence to act on real-time insights no matter how messy the data behind them may be."
