TrustedHousesitters operates a global pet-sitting network that connects animal owners with sitters in exchange for accommodation. The Brighton-based platform facilitates home-based pet care to help avoid traditional kennel environments.

TrustedHousesitters has secured £7.3m in Series A funding from Rockpool Investments and Brock Weatherup to accelerate its expansion into the United States. The Brighton company has experienced a surge in demand as pet ownership scales globally and international travel resumes. The capital will be deployed to scale the membership base, with a specific focus on markets such as California.

Founded in 2010, the platform connects pet owners with sitters who offer care in exchange for lodging. Despite pandemic-era travel restrictions, the firm reports revenue running at twice pre-pandemic levels alongside significant member growth throughout the year.
