Trint provides an automated speech-to-text platform that helps users transcribe and edit audio, video and text. The company operates offices in London and Toronto.
Trint has secured a Series A follow-on investment led by The New York Times Company, with participation from new and existing private investors. The capital injection follows institutional backing from organizations such as The Associated Press and TechNexus in 2019.
The company will direct the new funds towards accelerating product innovation and expanding its team. Alongside the financial agreement, the platform is set to be deployed to journalists across The New York Times.
