Trint raises £3.4m in Series A funding from Horizons Lab and other investors to enhance its transcription platform.
The round was led by Horizons Lab with backing from TechNexus and The Associated Press.
Trint provides an automated speech-to-text platform that helps users transcribe and edit audio, video and text. The company operates offices in London and Toronto.
Trint has secured £3.4m in Series A funding to develop its artificial intelligence platform and introduce collaboration tools for teams working with audio and video. The round was led by Horizons Lab, with participation from TechNexus and The Associated Press.
The capital will support the creation of features designed to help organisations extract greater value from recorded speech. Founded in 2014, the London-based business has expanded its headcount and customer base significantly while providing transcription services to major media organisations.
