London based fintech firm Traydstream has raised £5.6m in a Series A funding round led by Spearhead Capital. The capital injection also saw participation from institutional and private investors, including AFG Partners and several European family offices. The funds will be deployed to expand infrastructure and grow the team as the business scales its global operations.
The company has experienced increased demand for its automated trade document checking platform following pandemic related disruptions in global trade. Traydstream currently operates across 17 markets and four continents, using machine learning to streamline compliance and reduce risks in trade finance.
