The pre-seed round was led by SFC Capital with backing from Plug and Play.
TransHumanity is a Loughborough University spinout that develops agentic artificial intelligence platforms to transform transport data into accessible intelligence. Its flagship product, AptIq, enables transport authorities to analyse data rapidly through natural language queries.
Loughborough University spinout TransHumanity has secured approximately £400k in pre-seed funding. The investment round was led by SFC Capital, with participation from Silicon Valley-based Plug and Play. The capital will support the commercialisation and deployment of the company's transport intelligence platform.
Developed from research by Dr Haitao He, TransHumanity offers AptIq, an agentic AI tool designed to help transport authorities parse complex data sets in seconds. The technology is currently undergoing test deployments with Nottingham City Council and Transport for Greater Manchester as the firm prepares for wider UK expansion.
