TransFICC provides low-latency connectivity and workflow services for fixed income and derivatives markets. The firm offers a unified application programming interface that connects financial institutions to multiple trading venues.

TransFicc has secured £5.8m in a Series A funding round led by AlbionVC. The raise included new strategic investments from ING Ventures and HSBC, alongside participation from existing backers.

Proceeds from the financing will be directed towards extending product and market coverage for current and prospective clients. The company addresses market fragmentation in fixed income and derivatives trading by providing banks and asset managers with a unified connectivity platform.

The business counts several global investment banks among its existing clients. The latest capital injection follows earlier backing from institutional investors and corporate venture arms.
