Deepbridge Capital has backed Touch Biometrix in a Series A round to support the commercialisation of its fingerprint sensor technology.
Touch Biometrix develops fingerprint sensors for consumer electronics using proprietary technology and algorithms. The company was founded in 2017 and is based in the UK.
Touch Biometrix has secured £2m in a Series A funding round provided by Deepbridge Capital. The capital will support the commercialisation of the firm's fingerprint sensor technology platform and help prepare its first minimum viable product ahead of scaled production.
The investment builds on previous seed backing of £150k received last year. Touch Biometrix aims to provide scalable and cost-effective biometric authentication for consumer devices.
