BGF backs mobile identity specialist TMT ID in its first institutional funding round to support international growth.
TMT ID provides mobile data and identity intelligence solutions to help organisations combat cybercrime and verify users. The firm operates a verification network spanning over 200 countries.
Mobile identity intelligence provider TMT ID has secured £30m in funding from BGF. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product innovation and drive international expansion into the United States market.
Founded in 2016, TMT ID has largely bootstrapped its operations prior to this institutional backing. The company has seen surging demand for its identity and fraud product suite amid rising global cybercrime losses and tighter regulatory requirements for online age verification.
The transaction marks the first institutional partnership for the business. BGF investor Matthew Connor led the deal alongside colleagues in the London office.
