Tixserve secures £1.9m from Maven Capital Partners through the South West Investment Fund to expand operations.
Maven Capital Partners led the investment to help the digital ticketing platform scale its team and geographic reach.
Tixserve provides digital ticket distribution and management platforms for live events and sporting organisations. The modular software streamlines event delivery while enhancing fan engagement and data analytics.
Maven Capital Partners has invested £1.9m in Tixserve via the British Business Bank South West Investment Fund. The capital injection will allow the digital ticketing platform to scale its workforce, establish a physical presence in Bristol, and broaden its footprint across international markets and sports verticals.
Operating as an alternative to conventional digital wallets, Tixserve delivers white-label ticketing applications for prominent clients such as England Rugby, Celtic FC and Rugby Australia. The funding arrives as the sector anticipates stricter digital mandates across major leagues, positioning the business to capture increased demand.
Luke Matthews of Maven Capital Partners noted the company operates in an underserved segment with established blue-chip traction. Chief executive Patrick Kirby added that the financing will accelerate the firm's ambition to become a leading independent mobile distribution platform for live events.
From the founder
"We will continue to be market-led as we deepen our relationship with existing blue-chip clients in the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong and Australia and engage with new clients. Luke and his colleagues at Maven were very professional in how they conducted their due diligence and the fact that they developed a detailed understanding of the powerful value proposition that Tixserve offers its clients augurs well for a successful and enjoyable period of collaboration and profitable growth ahead."

Investor perspective
"Digital ticket management is a growth market and Tixserve operates in a relatively underserved segment of the ticketing ecosystem already supporting a number of blue-chip customers with its platform."
