Ada Ventures led the Series A financing round to support team expansion and product development.
tickr is an application that allows users to invest in companies generating social and environmental solutions, alongside providing carbon offset services. The certified B Corp company aims to make ethical finance accessible to a new generation.
Ethical investment platform tickr has raised £2.5m in a Series A financing round led by Ada Ventures. The capital will be deployed to expand the company product roadmap, strengthen the team, and scale customer acquisition.
The London-based business operates an application that connects users with firms focused on social and environmental themes. Following previous fundraising and rapid growth during the pandemic, the firm continues to broaden its offering, which recently grew to include carbon offsetting subscriptions.
Ada Ventures backed the round as part of its strategy to support overlooked founders and markets. The latest injection of funds arrives as the platform positions itself to capture shifting consumer attitudes toward sustainable finance.
From the founder
"We believe that within the next 5 – 10 years ‘impact investing’ will just be called ‘investing’. It’s the only way our generation wants to invest, and because of that they’re driving industry-wide structural change. We think this change has only just started, and within the next few years it will completely transform financial services and how people think about their money"

Investor perspective
"tickr is capturing something powerful and ethereal – a modern investing mindset that wants more say in the second and third degree effects of what happens with our money."
