London-based enterprise infrastructure provider offering 3D and augmented reality developer tools for e-commerce brands.
London-based Threedium has secured $11m in a funding round led by Interpublic Group and Olma Partners. The capital will be directed towards advancing spatial computing, enhancing 3D content production on the web, and deepening research and development into artificial intelligence.
Additional participation in the round came from Mesh Consensys, Reflexive Capital, Nirvana Family Office, Lyra Ventures, Edenbase, and Kinisis Venture Fund I. The company provides infrastructure and developer tools that allow brands to display products as interactive 3D and augmented reality assets across web and mobile platforms.
Founded in 2017, Threedium counts major global names such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Tommy Hilfiger among its clients. The fresh capital will support the company as it extends its market presence and brings immersive storytelling tools to a wider range of international brands.
From the founder
"The world of static 2D e-commerce is becoming archaic. User behavior is evolving and brands striving for distinction recognise the need to meet consumer demands for enriched, customisable experiences on the spatial web. This new round of investment reinforces the trust investors place in our mission to revolutionise digital landscapes, equipping businesses with engaging and immersive capabilities."
