The fashion tech startup has raised £4m from Beringea and Balderton Capital to expand its team and user base.
Thread is a London-based fashion technology company that operates an online personal styling service for men.
Thread has secured £4m in funding to expand its team and grow its user base within the UK. The round was supported by Beringea, existing backer Balderton Capital, and a number of angel investors.
Founded in 2012, the company provides an online personal styling platform that pairs customers with professional stylists and utilises algorithms to make tailored clothing recommendations. The fresh capital will allow the company to scale operations beyond its current team of 30 and build on its user base of 325,000.
