The Seam has secured £250k in a pre-seed funding round led by Jenson Funding Partners. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, expand the workforce, and scale operations into new geographic regions.
Founded by Layla Sargent, the digital platform links wearers with a network of over 700 makers to facilitate garment repairs and alterations. The business aims to counter the environmental impact of fast fashion by helping consumers maintain their wardrobes.
