ETF Partners has backed The Modern Milkman in a £5m Series A round to accelerate sustainable grocery deliveries across the UK.
The Modern Milkman provides doorstep grocery delivery using return and reuse packaging free of single-use plastics. The Manchester-based firm helps consumers reduce household waste while scaling its sustainable delivery operations across the UK.
The Modern Milkman has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by ETF Partners. The capital will support the company as it expands its sustainable grocery delivery operations across the UK during 2021.
Founded in response to environmental concerns regarding single-use plastics, the enterprise experienced significant growth over the previous year. The fresh injection of funds is intended to broaden its geographic reach beyond Northern England and scale its digital delivery infrastructure.
