A Scottish FemTech start-up that develops an in-cubicle washer for reusable menstrual products to improve hygiene and promote sustainability.

The Bettii Pod has secured £337k in a funding round to advance the commercial development of its menstrual hygiene hardware and drive market engagement. The investment was led by Equity Gap with participation from Scottish Enterprise and a group of angel investors introduced by Lifted Ventures.

Founded in 2021, the company aims to normalise sustainable menstrual practices by introducing in-cubicle washers for menstrual cups and discs in away-from-home washrooms. The fresh capital will enable the firm to scale its operations and engage with the demographic of people who menstruate across the UK.
