Texthelp secures investment from LDC to accelerate international growth

Texthelp

LDC has backed Texthelp to support its software proposition and international expansion.

£19.0M

Texthelp provides literacy and numeracy software for education and corporate sectors globally. The firm supports users with reading, writing, and language difficulties.

Texthelp has secured a significant investment from LDC to accelerate international expansion and drive product development. The Belfast based education and corporate software provider generates annual revenues of £19m and operates across multiple global markets.

The capital injection will help the management team scale operations and expand into new regions, building on its transition to a software as a service model. Delta Partners exits its position following the transaction after supporting the company from its earliest start up stages.

LDC backs the existing leadership team, with Steve Aston and Joseph Fison joining the board alongside incoming non-executive chairman David Gilbertson.
