TalentPool operates a talent matching platform that provides bespoke software solutions for public and private sector employers. The firm also runs Alvius, a software as a service division designed to help recruiters build talent platforms.

TalentPool has secured £1m in funding led by Joe Saumarez Smith for its Alvius software as a service division. The capital will be deployed to expand the Alvius platform, which automates application filtering and uses data science techniques to match candidates with roles.

The business builds software solutions designed to streamline recruitment processes for both public and private sector employers, saving time and money in candidate selection. Joe Saumarez Smith, an original backer of the company, led the investment.

Alongside the funding, the firm has recently appointed several senior figures to advisory and chair roles, including Richard Boggis-Rolfe, Belinda Brooke, and Stephen Warrington.
