London fintech startup TABBit has secured £320k in a pre-seed funding round led by European fund Angel Invest. The company drew additional backing from industry veterans including Dr Andrew Buckley and James Sherwin-Smith. TABBit plans to direct the new capital toward growth initiatives and product development as it expands its open banking payment capabilities across the UK.

When I discovered there was no easy solution available, I set out to create one myself, removing the challenges that UK consumers currently face when requesting payments from friends that bank with a different provider."
