Synthace operates a cloud platform that helps life sciences organisations automate biology experimentation and share insights. Seven of the top ten global pharmaceutical companies use its software.

London-based life sciences software provider Synthace has secured £26m in a Series C funding round. The investment was co-led by Horizons Ventures and Sofinnova Partners.

The capital will be directed towards commercial expansion and go-to-market growth, alongside the recruitment of senior U.S. leadership. This follows strong recent momentum for the company, which has seen increased adoption of its R&D cloud platform among major pharmaceutical firms.
