SyndicateRoom raises £3.1m in Series A funding to expand market reach
The oversubscribed round was led by Jonathan Milner and included a £1m contribution from Unicorn AIM VCT.

SyndicateRoom has secured £3.1m in a Series A funding round led by super-angel investor and Abcam founder Jonathan Milner. The oversubscribed round also saw participation from online investors including Unicorn AIM VCT, which contributed £1m.
The capital will be deployed to support an aggressive growth strategy over the coming six months, which includes expanding operations into the wider equity capital markets and doubling the company headcount. The initial target of £2.3m was reached within ten hours of launching on its platform.
This follows a £1.2m funding round completed in May 2015. Earlier this year, the company became a member of the London Stock Exchange to allow crowdfunding participants to access initial public offerings and placings.
