Stockport based Symphony Commerce provides digital commerce software tailored for wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers operating in the business to business sector. The platform helps clients manage complex pricing and customer portals while integrating with standard enterprise resource planning systems.

Stockport based digital commerce provider Symphony Commerce, formerly known as Shopblocks, has secured £2m in fresh financing. The capital was provided by NPIF II, Mercia Equity Finance, Mercia's EIS funds, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, and private backers.

The business plans to direct the proceeds towards scaling its presence within the international business to business enterprise market and introducing further platform capabilities. The injection follows a rebrand and coincides with efforts to build on a customer base that includes major brands such as Toshiba and Daisy Telecom.

Kevin Jones, founder and chief technology officer, noted that the capital will support faster scaling and team expansion. Mercia Ventures, which previously backed the firm in 2023, highlighted the platform's ability to navigate intricate commercial operations.
