SWURF secures six-figure investment from Gareth Williams, Techscaler, and Scottish Enterprise to drive UK and European expansion.

The remote work platform has landed fresh funding and appointed three new board members to scale its operations.
SWURF is a remote work platform that connects hybrid and remote professionals with hospitality venues to use as flexible community workspaces. The platform helps venues monetise off-peak hours while offering users curated workspaces.
Edinburgh based remote work platform SWURF has secured a six-figure investment to fuel its expansion across the UK and Europe. The latest funding round includes follow-on support from existing backer Gareth Williams, alongside backing from the Techscaler programme, Scottish Enterprise, and private investors. Alongside the capital injection, the company has appointed three new industry figures to its board to guide its next stage of growth.
The fresh proceeds will be directed towards accelerating the rollout of the platform as the business prepares for a larger £1m raise later in the year. SWURF connects remote professionals with underused hospitality spaces such as cafes and hotels, generating incremental revenue for venue partners while building a community-driven workspace network.
