SuperAwesome has secured £12.9m in a Series A funding round led by M12, the venture fund of Microsoft. The investment comes as the company experiences rapid growth and profitability, while expanding its scope to address tightening digital privacy regulations for children across the wider internet.
The fresh capital will support the company as major technology firms increasingly adopt kidtech solutions. SuperAwesome currently processes over 12bn kid-safe transactions monthly through its platform, which spans advertising, video, community, and parental consent services.
The round also acknowledges continued backing from existing investors including Hoxton Ventures, Mayfair, Harbert, and Ibis, alongside several angel investors.
