Stateful Robotics is an embodied artificial intelligence company that develops decision intelligence software to help mobile robots operate reliably in unpredictable environments. Spun out from the University of Oxford, the company provides platforms that allow single robots and fleets to plan missions and adapt to real-world disruptions.
Stateful Robotics has raised £3.6m in a pre-seed funding round led by Amadeus Capital Partners and Oxford Science Enterprises. The capital will be deployed to expand the engineering team, refine performance engines, and scale commercial partnerships within industrial sectors.
The Oxford spinout develops software that integrates live data, task progress, and historical performance into a dynamic artificial intelligence model. This approach allows autonomous robots to remember past incidents, plan missions over longer time horizons, and adapt to disruptions without constant human supervision.
The financing follows early pilot deployments across logistics and infrastructure sites. With backing from deep tech specialists and experienced founders, the company aims to bridge the gap between academic research and the demands of scalable industrial automation.
