Sprint Power has secured a grant of £2.4m from Innovate UK to develop wireless charging platforms for electric vehicles. The funding is part of a £4.6m consortium award intended to demonstrate the viability of wireless charging for light commercial vehicles.
Headquartered in the Midlands, the company will use the capital to address technical and commercial challenges surrounding wireless charging infrastructure for UK businesses and municipalities.
